questions

what is damp?

doink's streaming transport. doink! can use several connections together and adapt bitrate as their available capacity changes.

are there monthly hour limits?

no. free streaming has unlimited hours, including low-latency viewing and one restream target. uploading continues while you are live, even with no viewers.

does a higher latency setting reduce quality?

the setting allows more time for delivery and recovery. it does not itself lower video quality. bitrate still adapts to the connections available.

can i use obs or another streaming app?

streaming to doink currently requires doink!. desktop support is not ready yet.

can i use hevc, recording or clips?

not in this launch. a paid tier is planned later for hevc, recording, clips and up to three restream targets. renditions are still being considered.
